How to change or clear your SAMi-3 camera password

Change Camera Password

When you set up your camera, you should change the default camera password to something you will remember. This password can be helpful in the future if you need to reset your camera for any reason. 

You can find and edit your camera password under Settings -> Camera Settings -> Camera Password. Select "Edit" to update the password. Clear the existing password and replace it with your own.

If you are unable to access your camera and the SAMi-3 app is asking for the camera password that you do not know, you will need to clear the camera password using these steps below:

1. Find a paperclip.

2. While the camera is plugged in, depress the recessed reset button on the lower right side of the camera.

3. Watch for the power light to cycle off, then red, then green.
