Switch Your SAMi Camera Between Wi-Fi Networks

You can easily change your SAMi between Wi-Fi networks so long as they are both within range of the Apple device you are using. Follow these instructions below based on what you are trying to switch between:

Changing between Home (or Non-SAMi) Wi-Fi to the SAMi Router, SAMi-5G Wi-Fi Network

If your SAMi Camera is connected to your home Wi-Fi and you have the SAMi Router nearby, then follow these steps:
 
Connect your SAMi Camera to the SAMi Router

1. Make sure your SAMi Camera is connected to your home Wi-Fi
2. Plug in your SAMi Router and make sure there the first three lights on the top of the router are green. If not, wait 2-minutes
3. Open your SAMi App and go to Setting-> Camera Settings->Camera Wi-Fi [Your home network name] and select change
4. Select the Wi-Fi network called SAMi and hit "Continue" to pair your camera to the SAMi network. 
    

Finally, you will need to change your Apple Device's Wi-Fi to the SAMi-5G network

1. Exit the SAMi App
2. Got to your Apple device's main settings (gear icon app)
3. Go to Wi-Fi from settings and then select the SAMi-5G network. If you are prompted for a password, check the bottom of your SAMi Router for a password
4. Verify that your "Ask to Join Networks" setting from the Wi-Fi Setting menu is set to "Ask" You can scroll to the bottom of the Wi-Fi networks page to adjust this.
5. Go back to the SAMi App and connect to the SAMi Camera to verify everything is properly working.

Changing between the SAMi Router, SAMi-5G Wi-Fi Network to Your

Home(or Non-SAMi) Wi-Fi Network

If your SAMi Camera is connected to your SAMi-5G Wi-Fi network and you want to switch it to another, non-SAMi, Wi-Fi network, follow these instructions assuming both Wi-Fi networks are within range and accessible with your Apple device. 

Connect your SAMi Camera to the new Wi-Fi Network

1. Make sure your SAMi Camera is connected to the SAMi-5G Wi-Fi network
2. Open your SAMi App and go to Setting-> Camera Settings->Camera Wi-Fi [SAMi] and select change
3. Select the Wi-Fi network you want to pair your SAMi Camera to and hit "continue". You may be prompted for your Wi-Fi password. This is NOT a SAMi password, this is the password to the Wi-Fi network you are trying to connect to.

Finally, you will need to change your Apple device's Wi-Fi to the same Wi-Fi network you just connected your SAMi Camera to

1. Exit the SAMi App
2. Got to your Apple device's main settings (gear icon app)
3. Go to Wi-Fi from settings and then select the Wi-Fi network you just connected to in the first steps above. 
4. Verify that your "Ask to Join Networks" setting from the Wi-Fi Setting menu is set to "Ask" You can scroll to the bottom of the Wi-Fi networks page to adjust this.
5. Go back to the SAMi App and connect to the SAMi Camera to verify everything is properly working.
