TP-Link SAMi Router Instructions:
(Your router should look like this)
1) Download this file to your computer: TP Link SAMi Restore File
2) Plug in the router and wait for three lights to turn on green.
3) Reset the router by using an opened paperclip. Press and hold the recessed reset button on the back of the router until you see all the lights turn off.
4) Connect your computer to the Wi-Fi network named "TP-Link_XXXX_5G". You may need to select "Other Networks" to reveal this network name.
5) Enter the default Wi-Fi password on the bottom of the router. This is not the password on the SAMi label, the password you need is labeled "Wireless Password/PIN" and is below (or underneath) the SAMi label. If you don't see this carefully peel off the SAMi label to reveal it.}
6) Enter "192.168.0.1" into your browser.
7) Enter "sami19920801" for the password and the password confirmation and then click on "Start".
8) Select "System Tools -> Backup & restore".
9) Click on "Choose File" and select the attached file "120224 SAMi Router Backup.bin". Click on "Upload".
10) Click on "Restore".
The router lights will go out. Once the first three lights are on again the router is ready to use.
LINKSYS SAMI ROUTER INSTRUCTIONS:
(Your router should look like this)

Download this file to your computer: linksys.bin

Now connect to the router over Wi-Fi. Look at the bottom of the router. The Wi-Fi network you want to connect to is shown there (for example "Linksys00027"). The WiFi password is directly below that (for example "xlpxdvazskr")

Enter “http://192.168.1.1/” into your browser.

Accept the license terms and click on “Next”.

Ignore any message that appears and enter “http://192.168.1.1/setting.html” into your browser.

If you are prompted to log in, the password is “admin”.

On the left, select “Administration” and “Backup”.

Click on “Choose File” and select the linksys.bin file you downloaded before.

Click on “Start to Restore”.
The router will restart and will now be configured for use with SAMi.
NETGEAR SAMI ROUTER INSTRUCTIONS:

Connect a computer to the router. You can either use an Ethernet wire, or you can connect the computer to the router using WiFi. To connect via WiFi, look at the bottom of the router. The WiFi network you want to connect to is in the top white box (for example "NETGEAR79"). The WiFi password is directly below that (for example "vanillagient432")

If the "Netgear Genie" pops up, select "No, I want to configure the Internet connection myself."

With a browser, connect to http://192.168.1.1

If prompted, log in with username: “admin” password: “password”

Click on “Wireless”

Enter "SAMi" for for the SSID. You need to enter this in two places, one for the 2.4Ghz Network and one for the 5Ghz Network.

"None" should be selected for Security Options. Optionally you can select "WPA2-PSK [AES]" under Security Options and enter a passphrase. Note that if you do this you will need to connect your SAMi camera to the router and set up its wireless network. Set this for both the 2.4 and 5Ghz networks.

Click on the green "Apply" button at the top.
The router will now restart and you are done.
If you encounter an alert like the below - simply click proceed (it is safe)
