There are a few reasons why your SAMi is not making recordings
1) No space on Apple Device:
- First, check that there is space on your device for recordings.
- Choose "recordings" At the top of the confirmation there is at least 1 GB free.
- If there isn't you will need to either delete some recordings, increase the Storage Limit (at the bottom of the settings page), or delete music/photos/videos/apps from your device.
2) There is an issue with the recording settings:
If there is free space available, check the camera settings as follows:
- In the SAMi3 app select Settings -> Camera Settings
- Confirm that Record Mode is not set to "Never"
- Confirm the Record Threshold is not set too high.
- 17% is the default and generally works well.
- Double-check your Recording Schedule to ensure there is no conflict or overlap
3) Your Camera SD Card needs to be reformatted
