How does SAMi handle privacy concerns when monitoring with video?

When monitoring a teenager, young adult, or an adult - privacy concerns are likely to arise. Luckily, the SAMi App has a feature where you can turn the live video feed off and replace it with a clock mode. This will prevent you from having a real-time view of the person sleeping and only have the live video feed be turned on when there is an active alert. 

This does not mean that the video will not be recording - it will still record. You can review videos the next day or have the individual being monitored go through the videos on their own and delete any irrelevant footage that they might have a privacy concern over. 

We highly suggest having a conversation with the individual being monitored and coming up with a privacy plan that is mutually agreeable.
