Where to find your SAMi-3 password

SAMi Camera Only and SAMi Router Kit owners:

You are usually not asked for the password unless you are connecting from a new Apple device to a SAMi Camera that is already paired with another Apple device. If this is a new Apple device, you can find the Camera password by going to the Apple device already connected to the SAMi-3 camera, opening the SAMi3 app, clicking the settings gear (bottom right) and then clicking "camera settings". You can change the password under camera settings to whatever you like.  

SAMi Complete Kit Owners:
We auto generate this when we create your kit. If you have no other version of the app (you are using the ipad we sent) then somehow the camera is confused and we need to clear it. 

You can clear the camera password by doing the following:
1. Find a paperclip
2. While the camera is plugged in, depress the recessed reset button on the lower right side of the camera.
3. Watch for the power light to cycle off, then red, then green.
This should erase the camera password and allow you to add a sami camera.

*Please note* Be sure you're not being asked for the Wi-Fi password, which can be found on a sticker on the bottom of your SAMi router.
