Using the SAMi Tabletop Infrared Light

SAMi Infrared Light Instructions.

1. Pick a spot for the light. Usually on a high surface such as a dresser pointing up works best. Avoid having the light directly visible by the SAMi-3 camera.
   1. If you are going to use the light on a table pointing up (recommended) peel off and apply the three rubber feet to the bottom of the light. There are three smooth areas, place the feet in the center of each of these and press hard for a few seconds. 
   2. If you want to wall or ceiling mount the lamp do not apply the feet and instead use the included wall anchors.
2. Connect the AC adapter cord to the end of the infrared light cord and then plug it in. Note that the lamp will only turn on when the room is dark.
3. Start the SAMi-3 app. Select Settings -> Camera Settings and set the IR Illuminator Mode to Off.
4. Check the live image in a dark room. Adjust the location and aim of the infrared light to get the best picture.
